Work Experience: - 8-10 years of relevant Market Research work experience after completion of Masters. - Strong experience across qualitative and quantitative research Technical Skills: (Desirable) Working knowledge of: Microsoft Office Suite - Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills - Working knowledge of: R/ RStudio, Python, SPSS Experience with: Data exploration/visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI is an advantage. Role: - As a Market Research head your role will be to plan, direct, control, conduct and analyze HR and Market trends to shape Aon's point-of-views, new markets and sales opportunities. The position will have both leadership and development responsibilities as well as an expectation to deliver on revenue targets. - In this role, you will develop and maintain databases with internally driven or externally derived information sources. You will also identify insights and need gaps that help develop value propositions for our clients. We are looking for an energetic and dynamic individual who is eager to learn about new technologies and has a proven track record in primary and secondary research, data collection, interpretation, visualization, and analysis. - We expect you to show ownership, accountability, and extreme learning agility. Typical responsibilities will include: - Scale up our research vertical. - Lead and managing research work from taking briefs, interpreting them into effective proposals, converting them into live studies, planning and executing research, analysis and deriving insights, delivering effective presentations. - Demonstrate deep understanding of the business issues and trends in one or more industry sectors. (Start-up, IT Services, IT Product, BPO, GCC) - Actively help in publishing content in leading business journals, social media platforms, client forums, blogs, articles, etc. - Understand research objectives and design surveys and drive participation. - Mine market and research databases to catalogue findings. - Build POV's on industry that are forward looking, address probabilities and implications, and analyze cross-sector topics intended to be relevant to a larger human capital audience. - Supports industry and identify, analyze major issues driving today's Human Capital dynamics and shaping tomorrow's talent marketplace. - Structure and execute on project management and performance improvement initiatives to continuously drive process efficiency. - Build subject matter expertise in a specific market over a period - Provide methodological guidance and input on research scope to ensure its feasible and within budget. - Knows how to implement research projects - from the ground up, from end-to-end. Skills & Knowledge Requirements: - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Business acumen with strong analytical and presentation skills. - Demonstrated analytical skills, applying conceptual models, recognizing patterns while drawing and defending conclusions. - Strong quantitative and qualitative research experience - Ability to work independently and on a team across multiple projects. - Significant comfort with MS Excel and other MS office tools. - Search engines, web analytics and business research tools acumen - Adequate knowledge of data collection methods (polls, focus groups, surveys etc.) - Experience handling multiple priority activities/projects at once within allotted SLAs.
