Job Description:
We are seeking a dynamic and result-oriented Area Sales Manager with 35 years of experience to join our team in Hyderabad. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales of analytical lab instruments, especially to pharmaceutical customers across Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. The role demands strong client relationship management, market development, and effective collaboration with the technical team to ensure high customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities (KRA):
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for assigned territory
- Develop and manage strong business relationships with pharmaceutical customers
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the AP and Telangana region
- Conduct customer visits, technical presentations, and product demonstrations
- Maintain and update sales records and customer information in CRM system
- Collaborate with internal technical and service teams to deliver optimal customer support
- Provide market intelligence and competitor feedback to the management
- Ensure timely collection of receivables and support after-sales service
- Participate in exhibitions, seminars, and other promotional events as required
- Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and territory-wise performance updates
Required Skill Set:
- Proven sales experience with scientific instrumentation or analytical lab equipment
- Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical industry clients in AP and Telangana
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Strong negotiation and deal-closing abilities
- Ability to work independently and handle regional travel
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Technical aptitude and ability to understand complex products and applications
- Goal-oriented, self-motivated, and adaptable to dynamic work environments
Education:
Bachelors degree in Science, Engineering, Pharmacy, or related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
