Role Summary:
We are looking for a highly driven Category Manager to lead and scale our D2C business through our owned platform, AGEasybyAntara.com. The ideal candidate will own the P&L for the category, drive revenue growth, manage both top-line and bottom-line performance, and lead strategic initiatives across channels. This role demands a deep understanding of data, consumer behaviour, and performance marketing metrics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Business Ownership & P&L Responsibility:
- Own and manage category P&L-drive top-line growth and bottom-line profitability.
- Deliver on revenue, margins, and category growth through strategic planning and execution.
- Scale the D2C business via AGEasybyAntara.com through data-driven decisions and performance insights.
- Data & Performance Marketing:
- Leverage strong analytical capabilities to assess funnel conversion, campaign effectiveness, and channel ROI.
- Use performance marketing metrics to optimize acquisition, retention, and AOV (Average Order Value).
- Strategic Planning:
- Devise and execute pricing, promotion, and channel mix strategies across online and offline platforms.
- Plan and forecast inventory needs for both ongoing operations and new launches.
- Market Research & Benchmarking:
- Analyze market trends, customer behavior, and competitor performance.
- Stay ahead of new product developments and category innovations.
- Cross-functional Leadership:
- Collaborate with product, tech, operations, and marketing teams to implement initiatives.
- Drive seamless category execution from ideation to go-to-market.
- Tracking & Reporting:
- Monitor and report weekly/monthly performance metrics against forecasts.
- Develop actionable insights to guide decision-making and optimization efforts.
Qualifications & Experience:
- MBA/Bachelor's from a premier institution (preferred).
- 7+ years of experience in high-growth e-commerce, D2C, or digital-first businesses, ideally managing leading categories.
- Proven track record of owning P&L and scaling digital businesses.
- Strong understanding of data analytics, funnel metrics, and performance marketing.
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills-able to influence without authority.
- Highly motivated, problem-solver with a bias for action and ability to execute independently.
- Passion for challenging the status quo, thinking innovatively, and embracing a fast-paced, agile work environment.
- Comfortable working in a non-hierarchical, collaborative team culture.
- Willingness to roll up sleeves and lead by example
