
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough title verification, due diligence, and risk assessments for land acquisition and property transactions.
- Draft, review, and vet property documents, including sale deeds, agreements, and contracts, ensuring bilingual accuracy.
- Ensure compliance with land acquisition laws, township policies, registration, and stamp duty regulations applicable in Uttar Pradesh.
- Coordinate effectively with local authorities for smooth registration and legal clearances.
- Advise management on legal risks and go/no-go decisions relating to property deals and land matters.
- Support and guide the company on regulatory compliance matters relating to real estate policies and municipal bylaws.
- Manage relationships with external legal counsel when required and oversee litigation or dispute resolution processes.
Must-Have Qualifications and Skills:
- Proven experience in real estate law, preferably within real estate companies.
- Strong expertise in property laws and land acquisition matters specific to Uttar Pradesh.
- Hands-on experience with drafting and vetting legal documents in both Hindi and English.
- Deep understanding of due diligence processes and title verification for land matters.
- Excellent coordination and negotiation skills with stakeholders and local authorities.
- LL.B/LL.M degree from a recognized institution is preferred.
Preferred Attributes:
- Experience handling regulatory compliance across RERA, municipal laws, and environmental regulations.
- Familiarity with litigation and arbitration related to real estate matters.
- Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and maintain high standards of governance and ethics
