Primary Purpose of Role
- Part of the Central Operations Data science team and support the business function with exploratory data analysis and hypothesis testing to generate actionable business insights
- Develop and maintain data science solutions on structured/unstrctured data to drive incremental value for Kmart group
- Create compelling dashboards and presentation to share actionable insights to internal stakeholders and measure benefits
- Inquisitivness balanced with commitment to timelines
- Detail-oriented team player with strong interpersonal skills

Work typically requires a high school degree or 1-2 year vocational training / associates degree.
Team Member Minimum Requirements
- Basic statistical literacy is a must - Concepts in probability, statistical distributions, inferential statistics. Hands on experience in simple techniques such as multiple linear regression and logistic regression is mandatory. Conceptual understanding and ability to apply Machine Learnings algorithms to real life business problems.
- Basic knowledge of cloud and MLOps - AWS / GCP / Azure. Experience in agile development methodologies.
- Data Management Skills using SQL
- Excellent programming skills in Python
Work Experience

- 1+ years of work experience as a Data Scientist / Data Analyst in a corporate environment
- 1+ years of experience on Python, SQL, Ms Excel, EDA and Machine Learning
