AngelOne - Lead - Portfolio Performance

Role Overview:

As the Lead for Portfolio Performance, you will be responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and optimizing the credit and investment portfolios within our fintech ecosystem. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product, engineering, and business strategy, to ensure that portfolio health remains robust while identifying opportunities for growth. Your insights will directly influence risk mitigation strategies and product enhancements, ensuring a superior experience for our users while maintaining the financial integrity of the business.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design and implement advanced predictive models to assess portfolio risk and identify potential credit vulnerabilities before they impact business outcomes.

- Analyze large-scale datasets to derive actionable insights into portfolio performance, providing stakeholders with clear visibility into trends and risk exposure.

- Develop and maintain automated monitoring systems using Python and SQL to track key performance indicators and ensure real-time reporting of portfolio health.

- Collaborate with the product and engineering teams to integrate machine learning solutions that optimize credit decisioning and improve overall portfolio yield.

- Conduct regular stress testing and scenario analysis to prepare the organization for market volatility and ensure compliance with internal risk management frameworks.

Required Skillset:

- Proficiency in leveraging Python and SQL to manipulate complex datasets and build scalable analytical solutions for financial modeling.

- Demonstrated expertise in applying machine learning and predictive modeling techniques to solve real-world credit risk and portfolio management challenges.

- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate technical data findings into strategic business recommendations for senior leadership.

- Excellent communication skills, enabling you to bridge the gap between technical data teams and business stakeholders to drive consensus on risk policies.

- A solid foundation in data analytics and risk management principles, typically supported by a degree in a quantitative field such as Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or Engineering.

- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, hybrid work environment in Bangalore, managing multiple priorities with a high degree of autonomy and attention to detail.
