About our Energy & Minerals IB Team:

- Our dedicated Energy & Minerals industry group of 14 includes senior engineering and finance professionals operating internationally from bases in Mumbai and London. Between them, our team has worked across most continents.

- The team's specialist focus is on clean transition themes across renewable energy generation, electrification, energy technologies, energy supply chain, energy storage, circular economy, energy transition minerals and clean energy and development finance.

- The team has recently been engaged in capital raising, M&A and other special projects in the energy generation, circular economy and critical mineral mining and processing and are experiencing rapid and varied growth. Typically, projects have both a strong Indian and international component.

- As part of its expansion the team is looking to hire a team leader in its Mumbai office. Travel will be project dependent but could be extensive and international.

Position Summary:

This position will lead high-impact financial advisory work across the UK and India-covering IPOs, capital raises, M&A, and due diligence-with unwavering attention to quality and client satisfaction. At the same time, the position will drive business growth by confidently pitching ideas and deepening relationships with investors and corporates, unlocking new mandates along the way. The expertise will shine through thought leadership initiatives: writing insightful reports, speaking at industry events and elevating our practice's profile. The role will mentor and guide colleagues at all levels, fostering a collaborative and high-performing culture.

What You'll Be Doing:

- Deliver outstanding projects: Lead high-value mandates like IPOs, capital raises, M&A advisory, and due diligence across UK and India. You'll manage delivery, ensure top quality and consistently impress clients.

- Grow business and networks: Pitch your ideas confidently, forge relationships with investors and corporates and help uncover new mandates.

- Share your expertise: We value thought leadership-write insightful reports, speak at conferences and elevate our practice's visibility.

- Lead the team: Mentor and guide professionals across levels, support their development and help build a strong, collaborative UK-India advisory group.

Who You Are:

- Experience: 12-15 years of financial advisory or consulting experience with real hands-on deals in energy/minerals.

- Analytical & strategic: Fluent in financial modelling, risk assessment and due diligence workflows.

- Trusted and organized: Deadlines matter. Structured, responsible, and reliable.

- Relationship-builder: Should have a strong, active network of investors, corporates and institutions in energy transition/critical minerals.

- Business developer: Have led pitches, sharpened proposals and played a meaningful role in securing advisory mandates.
