Role Overview:
The Associate/Senior Associate in the Industrials & Infrastructure Sector within the Investment Banking division will play a crucial role in executing transactions end to end, conducting financial analysis and supporting seniors in client management. This role involves working closely on all aspects of transaction execution, from origination to closing and interacting with clients and other stakeholders.
The successful candidate will contribute to the firm's growth by delivering high-quality advice and execution to clients in the Industrials & Infrastructure space.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-depth industry research and analysis to identify potential M&A targets and investment opportunities for clients.
- Develop complex financial models and perform valuation analysis to support transaction structuring and pricing.
- Prepare pitch books, information memorandums, and other marketing materials for client presentations.
- Manage the due diligence process, coordinating with internal teams and external advisors to ensure timely and accurate completion.
- Assist in the execution of transactions, including drafting legal documents, managing data rooms, and coordinating closing activities.
- Support senior bankers in building and maintaining client relationships by preparing meeting materials and participating in client calls.
Required Skillset:
- Demonstrated ability to perform financial modeling, valuation and financial analysis.
- Proven experience in conducting due diligence and supporting M&A, IPO and other investment banking transactions.
- Strong understanding of the Industrials & Infrastructure sector.
- Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients and internal teams.
- Bachelor's/ master's degree in finance, Economics or a related field.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, demanding environment.
Experience: 2-5 years of relevant experience in Investment Banking.
