Analyttica - Senior Data Scientist - GenAI

Key Responsibilities:

- Identify and frame GenAI opportunities with product and business teams.

- Design and run LLM POCs (copilots, RAG over enterprise data, agents, summarization, auto-insights, content generation).

- Compare prompting vs RAG vs fine-tuning and model choices; document tradeoffs across cost, performance, and UX.

- Build end-to-end experimentation flows: data prep, retrieval, prompts, guardrails, and evaluation loops.

- Convert successful POCs into clear, buildable designs and partner with engineering to move toward production.

- Define and run practical evaluations (task success, hallucinations, safety, usability) and iterate based on feedback.

- Track new models, tools, and patterns and translate relevant ideas into roadmap items.

- Mentor junior data scientists on LLMs, experimentation, and applied problem-solving.

Requirements:

- 8+ years in data science / ML, including 2+ years hands-on with LLMs / Generative AI.

- Master's Degree in Data Science / Statistics / Mathematics or related field required; PhD preferred.

- Strong Python and experience with modern LLM tooling (transformers, vector DBs, RAG frameworks, evaluation/guardrail tools).

- Solid grounding in ML and applied statistics.

- Comfortable working from ambiguous briefs, structuring experiments, and driving decisions.

- Experience working in a small company, startup, or fast-paced environment, where adaptability and agility are essential.
