About the Role.

We are seeking a Senior Data Scientist with deep expertise in data science methodologies and exceptional proficiency in Python.

You will lead end-to-end analytical initiatives from problem framing and data preparation to model development, validation, deployment, and monitoring.

This role requires strong technical skills, a business-oriented mindset, and the ability to work across teams to deliver high-impact, data-driven solutions.

Responsibilities:

- Lead the design, development, and deployment of advanced statistical, machine learning, and AI models to solve complex business problems.

- Collaborate with stakeholders to frame analytical problems, define objectives, and identify relevant data sources.

- Perform data extraction, cleaning, transformation, and feature engineering on structured and unstructured datasets.

- Implement efficient, reusable, and well-documented Python-based data science workflows.

- Conduct exploratory data analysis (EDA) to uncover patterns, trends, and insights.

- Evaluate model performance using appropriate metrics and improve models iteratively.

- Work closely with engineering teams to operationalize and integrate models into production systems.

- Mentor junior data scientists and analysts, reviewing code, methodologies, and project approaches.

- Stay current with emerging tools, libraries, and research in data science and machine learning.

Qualifications:

- 4-5 years of experience in data science roles OR equivalent Academic Experience (Masters or PhD in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field).

- Expert-level proficiency in Python.

- Strong grasp of machine learning algorithms, statistical modeling, and optimization techniques.

- Experience with data visualization tools and dashboarding.

- Skilled in working with SQL and large datasets; experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) preferred.

- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

- Ability to translate complex analytical findings into clear, actionable business insights.
