Lead Functional Consultant - Experience in Manufacturing

About the Role
We are seeking a Lead Functional Consultant to partner with clients in analyzing, designing, and architecting end-to-end solutions that drive meaningful business outcomes.
This high-impact role requires a combination of functional leadership, strategic vision, and hands-on expertise in diving deep into complex systems.
Success in this role requires adaptability, strong communication skills, and a deep understanding of business processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead discovery and solutioning across business functions for manufacturing organizations, with a focus on digital transformation and deep system analysis.
- Dive deep into enterprise systems such as ERP platforms, PLM/product engineering systems, and sales platforms to understand current workflows, identify gaps, and define requirements.
- Analyze data flows, integration points, and system architectures to propose scalable, integrated solutions.
- Collaborate closely with business and technical stakeholders to define and design future-state business processes and functional solutions.
- Conduct detailed functional discovery and provide guidance on how to optimize existing systems and processes, ensuring alignment with strategic business objectives.
- Lead pre-sales engagements, articulating the value of solutions and ensuring alignment across executive leadership, functional teams, and end users.
Requirements
- An MBA or deep functional expertise in manufacturing, supply chain, or related industries, with a strong understanding of enterprise data systems.
- 4+ years of experience in ERP implementation or functional consulting within manufacturing.
- Extensive experience in functional consulting, particularly in system analysis, solution design, and process optimization, not just implementation.
- Ability to drive clarity from complexity, working across multiple business functions to design and analyze solutions that align with client needs and business objectives.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

- Experience working in a startup or fast-paced environment, where adaptability and agility are essential.
- Experience in the manufacturing industry or demonstrated ability to quickly understand and adapt to different business processes.
