Position Overview:
We are seeking an accomplished Audit Team Lead to oversee end-to-end audit operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive excellence in financial governance. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise, leadership skills, and the ability to deliver high-quality audit outcomes within dynamic, deadline-driven environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Audit Planning & Execution:
- Lead, plan, and supervise statutory, internal, tax, and compliance audits to ensure accuracy, completeness, and timely delivery.
- Review working papers, audit evidence, and final reports for quality and adherence to auditing standards.
- Conduct risk assessments, identify control gaps, and recommend mitigation strategies.
Regulatory & Compliance Management:
- Ensure compliance with ITR, GST, TDS, ROC, and other statutory regulations.
- Stay updated with evolving audit methodologies, financial laws, and reporting standards.
Financial Analysis & Reporting:
- Analyze financial statements and datasets to identify variances, anomalies, and improvement opportunities.
- Develop and optimize audit processes, templates, and reporting frameworks for operational efficiency.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Liaise with clients, regulatory authorities, and internal departments to address audit queries and resolve compliance issues.
- Present clear findings, insights, and strategic recommendations to senior management and clients.
Team Leadership & Development:
- Mentor, coach, and oversee junior auditors and article assistants.
- Foster a culture of accuracy, accountability, and continuous learning within the audit team.
Qualifications & Skills:
Educational & Professional Requirements:
- Qualified CA / CMA with 2+ years of Articleship experience.
- Minimum 2 years of post-qualification audit experience, with proven leadership exposure.
