Description:
Key Responsibilities:
- 1. Data Analytics, Dashboards & Reporting
- Develop, automate, and maintain Power BI dashboards (Must Have) for transportation, warehousing, and distribution KPIs.
- Analyze logistics data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and optimization opportunities.
- Create predictive and prescriptive analytical models for logistics planning and forecasting.
- Own key logistics metrics: OTIF, TAT, freight cost per unit, load utilization, route performance, fill rate, and SLA adherence.
- 2. Logistics Optimization
- Perform route optimization, vehicle load planning, and freight cost analysis.
- Support warehouse layout optimization, manpower planning, and inventory flow assessments.
- Conduct network modeling and capacity planning to support strategic supply chain decisions.
- 3. Stakeholder Collaboration
- Work closely with operations, procurement, finance, and customer service to improve logistics performance.
- Collaborate with transporters/3PL partners to monitor SLA performance and drive improvements.
- Present insights, dashboards, and recommendations to senior leadership.
- 4. Process & Digital Improvement
- Lead cost-reduction and service improvement initiatives through analytics.
- Identify automation opportunities and collaborate with IT to implement digital tools and analytics platforms.
- Ensure data governance, data accuracy, and standardization across logistics systems.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelors degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field; MBA preferred.
- 6-10 years of experience in logistics analytics, supply chain analytics, or transportation analytics roles.
- Mandatory: Advanced Power BI expertise (DAX, data modeling, drill-through, automation, and dashboard design).
- Strong analytical skills with knowledge of Excel, SQL; Python/R preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) and TMS/WMS platforms.
