Manthan is a venture-funded company with Norwest Venture Partners, IDG Ventures, and Fidelity Private Equity on its board.   ROLE : Analytics Data Scientist  REPORTS TO : Business Head – Customer Analytics  EXPERIENCE :	6-8 Years +  EDUCATION : Engg. or advanced degree in quantitative sciences/ MBA (quantitative marketing) 				 PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES  1. Conceptualize, design and execute analytical models to embed within the Customer Analytics product  2. Test model performance against competitive approaches to evolve concurrent or alternative paths  3. Work with engineering teams to develop and deploy analytic code components  4. Work with the functional team to define business use cases for acquisition, retention and campaign analytic modules  5. Be the solutions consultant on customer deployments for presales consulting, and user adoption workshops  REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS  1. Undergraduation in engineering and an advanced degree in quantitative sciences or an MBA from a tier-1 institution with a specialization in quantitative marketing  2. 6-8+ years of experience in developing and deploying quantitative analytical models in consumer marketing and customer analytics domains, in retail, CPG, hospitality or telco industries  3. Experience across optimization techniques, simulation techniques and statistical modeling methods  4. Deep expertise in SAS, R and excel solver  5. Functional understanding of the application of analytical techniques to address marketing objectives in consumer industries  6. Strategic thinking and project management skills in complex deployment scenarios  7.
