Analyst - Supply Chain Planning & Analytics - Contractual

Job Title: Supply Chain Planning & Analytics Analyst (Contract)

Location: Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh (On-site/Hybrid)

Employment Type: Contractual

Duration: 3-6 months (possible extension)

Experience: 2-4 years

Role Summary:

Short-term contract role supporting demand forecasting, inventory optimization, S&OP processes, and analytics in a fast-paced supply chain environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and maintain demand forecasts using statistical models and historical data.

- Analyze inventory levels and recommend optimization strategies (safety stock, reorder points).

- Support monthly S&OP cycles: prepare data, identify risks, and align cross-functional teams.

- Build and maintain Power BI dashboards and advanced Excel reports for KPIs (forecast accuracy, inventory turns, OTIF, service -levels).

- Perform root-cause analysis on planning issues (stock-outs, overstock, supply constraints).

- Extract and transform data from ERP/WMS systems.

- Conduct scenario modeling for capacity, new products, or disruptions.

- Automate reporting tasks using Excel VBA/Power Query.

Required Skills

- Bachelor's/PG in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, or Analytics.

- 2-4 years in supply chain planning/analytics (demand/supply planning, inventory, S&OP).

- Advanced Excel (Power Query, Pivot, VBA) and Power BI (DAX, data modeling).

- Knowledge of supply chain concepts: forecasting, MRP/DRP, inventory optimization.

- Experience with ERP/planning tools (SAP, Oracle, Kinaxis, Anaplan, etc.) preferred.

- Basic SQL for data extraction.

- Strong analytical and communication skills.

Preferred:

- APICS/CPIM/CSCP or Power BI certification.

- Exposure to Python/R or statistical forecasting a plus.

- High-impact project work with potential extension.
