Investment Banking Analyst/Senior Associate - Top CA Firm, Mumbai

Role Overview:

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Investment Banking team of a leading Chartered Accountancy firm in Mumbai. As an Analyst/Senior Associate, you will play a crucial role in supporting the execution of M&A transactions, private equity deals, and other investment banking advisory services. You will work closely with senior bankers, clients, and other stakeholders, contributing to the successful completion of deals and providing valuable insights to clients. Your work will directly impact the firm's ability to deliver exceptional financial advisory services and help clients achieve their strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct comprehensive industry and company research to identify potential investment opportunities and support transaction origination.

- Develop detailed financial models and perform valuation analyses to assess the financial viability of potential deals for clients.

- Prepare pitch books, information memorandums, and other marketing materials to effectively communicate investment opportunities to potential investors and acquirers.

- Manage the due diligence process, coordinating with clients, legal counsel, and other advisors to ensure a smooth and efficient transaction execution.

- Assist in the negotiation of transaction terms and documentation, working closely with senior bankers and legal counsel to protect client interests.

- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, investors, and other industry professionals to expand the firm's network and generate new business opportunities.

Required Skillset:

- Demonstrated ability to perform complex financial modeling and valuation analyses.

- Proven experience in conducting industry research and analyzing financial statements.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely.

- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA)-MBA/CFA with 1-5 years of relevant experience in investment banking, M&A, or private equity.

- Familiarity with investment management principles and practices.

- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, demanding environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
