Analyst/Senior Analyst - Structured Finance - Bank

Position Summary:

The incumbent has to work with the Principal Structured Finance. The incumbent will get to work on the entire transaction cycle, right from discussion on financing requirement with client undertaking due diligence, structuring the transaction, negotiating termsheet with client, preparing credit memo and financial model, presenting investment proposal to credit team/credit committee and thereafter working with legal team on documentation and disbursement. The role also involves post disbursement regular monitoring of the health of the client throughout the loan tenor and conducting reviews at stipulated intervals.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

- Assist the team on live transactions as well in business development.

- Support team in transaction appraisal & execution, including preparation of detailed credit appraisal of transactions, preparing financial model, project evaluation, industry analysis, risk assessment & mitigation, financial analysis, sensitivity analysis, preparation of transaction documents and conducting site-visits.

- Present investment proposals before the Credit Committee/Senior Management, substantiating analysis and merits of the transactions.

- Work with the team in legal documentation, execution of legal agreements, KYC checks & compliance, disbursement, and coordination between the customer, legal, operations, internal audit, accounts and treasury teams.

- Post Disbursement Portfolio Monitoring including collection monitoring, project tracking, managing account formalities and responding to credit events.

- Track industry dynamics and regulatory trends.

Essential requirement:

- MBA (with specialization in Finance) / Chartered Accountant

Essential requirement:

- 5-9 years of relevant experience. Preferred candidates from top-tier NBFCs/ Investment Banks with Investment Banking/Structured Finance background

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers

- Excellent computer proficiency (MS Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)

- Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service
