About the Role:
We are seeking analytical and detail-oriented professionals to join our Financial Research group supporting global proprietary trading strategies. This role involves in-depth fundamental corporate credit analysis and close collaboration with front office teams across primary and secondary markets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct fundamental credit analysis of corporate bond issuers across geographies
- Prepare business summaries, financial highlights, and company overviews
- Analyze corporate credit quality and key risk drivers
- Review earnings, industry trends, and material credit developments
- Summarize insights from management calls and investor roadshows
- Extract and analyze key terms from credit documentation (collateral structures, guarantees, covenants, springing maturities, etc.)
- Perform capital structure analysis, seniority review, and relative value comparisons
- Support front office desks with ad hoc credit research projects
Required Qualifications:
- MBA (Finance), CA, or CFA
- 1-5 years of relevant experience in corporate credit research
- Strong fundamental credit analysis skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Strong attention to detail and analytical mindset
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience covering Investment Grade and/or High Yield bonds
- Exposure to US or European corporate borrowers
- Prior experience in buy-side, sell-side, or global financial institutions
