We are a boutique executive search firm headquartered in UK, focused exclusively on senior leadership mandates in Pharma, Biotech, CDMO, CRO and Life Sciences. We are looking for a sharp, research-oriented Business Analyst who will play a critical role in new business generation, market mapping for senior mandates and industry intelligence creation. This will be a Hybrid working with 2 days/week in office and remaining work from home.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Business Development Support:

- Identify and research potential client organizations across Pharma, Biotech, Life Sciences, CDMO, CRO, Diagnostics and related sectors

Generate new business leads through:

- Cold calling

- Email outreach

- LinkedIn prospecting

- Targeted networking and database mining

- Qualify leads based on predefined criteria (mandate size, seniority, hiring intent, geography, etc.)

- Schedule introductory discussions and hand over qualified leads to the Partner/Consultant

- Maintain and update lead data, outreach status and follow-ups in CRM or tracking systems

2. Market Mapping & Research for Senior Mandates

- Conduct detailed market mapping for senior and leadership-level mandates (VP, CXO, Head of Function roles)

Identify:

- Target companies

- Relevant functions

- Key decision-makers and potential candidates

Build talent intelligence reports covering:

- Org structures

- Reporting lines

- Competitor benchmarking

- Support consultants with candidate research, longlists, and industry talent insights

3. Industry Intelligence & Insight Reports:

- Track key leadership movements across Pharma and Life Sciences (appointments, exits, restructurings)

Develop short insight notes / reports on:

- Hiring trends

- Leadership demand areas

- Emerging skill sets

- Industry consolidation and growth segments

- Support creation of thought leadership content for client conversations and marketing initiatives

4. Data, Tools & Process Management:

- Maintain accurate records of leads, research data, and outreach activity

- Use LinkedIn, databases, and research tools effectively

- Continuously refine lead-generation approaches based on outcomes and feedback

- Support process improvements in research and business development workflows

Candidate Profile:

Education:

- MBA preferred (Marketing, Strategy, HR, or Operations)

- Strong analytical and research orientation is key

Experience:

2-6 years of experience in:

- B2B lead generation

- Research / consulting

- Executive search / recruitment research

- Market intelligence / business research roles

- Exposure to Pharma, Healthcare, Life Sciences, or B2B services is a strong plus

Skills & Competencies:

- Strong communication skills (verbal & written)

- Confident with cold calling and senior-level outreach

- Excellent research and data synthesis ability

- Comfortable working with senior stakeholders

- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and goal-driven

- Proficient with LinkedIn, Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM tools
