Analyst - P&C Underwriting

Description:

Experience:

- Review, collect, and analyze insurance information to assess risk and support underwriting decisions.

- Communicate with Agents and Brokers via email to obtain missing information, clarify details, and ensure timely processing of submissions.

- Provide underwriting support by preparing and validating documentation, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with internal policies.

- Evaluate risk exposure using provided underwriting guidelines and assist in preparing recommendations for approval.

- Support the underwriting team in achieving service level agreements (SLAs) and operational accuracy targets.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth workflow and process efficiency.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

- 2-3 years of experience in P&C insurance underwriting or underwriting support

- Strong understanding of insurance concepts, risk assessment, and policy documentation

- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) ability to correspond professionally with agents and brokers

- Proficient in MS Office applications (especially Excel and Outlook)

- Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and organizational skills
