Role Overview:

We are looking for an AIF Investment Analyst to support the AIF Division team in identifying, evaluating, and monitoring investment opportunities across Alternative Investment Funds (AIFs). The role involves conducting in-depth financial analysis, valuation, due diligence, investment research, portfolio monitoring, and preparing investment recommendations for the Investment Committee.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct fundamental research and financial analysis of potential investment opportunities across listed and unlisted companies.

- Build and maintain detailed financial models, including forecasting, scenario analysis, sensitivity analysis, and valuation models (DCF, Comparable Companies, Transaction Multiples).

- Perform commercial, financial, and industry due diligence to assess investment viability and associated risks.

- Prepare investment notes, research reports, and Investment Committee (IC) presentations with clear investment recommendations.

- Evaluate company financial statements, business models, competitive positioning, and management quality.

- Track portfolio companies by reviewing quarterly financial performance, operational KPIs, industry developments, and valuation updates.

- Monitor macroeconomic trends, sector developments, regulatory changes, and market movements impacting investments.

- Participate in management meetings, earnings calls, channel checks, and industry interactions to strengthen investment conviction.

- Support transaction execution by coordinating with legal, compliance, and external advisors during investment and exit processes.

- Assist in portfolio valuation, performance reporting, and investor reporting activities.

- Maintain investment databases, financial models, and research documentation.

Preferred Candidate Profile:

- Experience in evaluating investment opportunities across public and/or private markets.

- Strong understanding of financial statements, valuation methodologies, and investment frameworks.

- Ability to prepare investment theses and present recommendations to senior investment professionals.

- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

- High attention to detail with the ability to work in a fast-paced investment environment.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

- Quality and accuracy of financial models and valuation outputs.

- Timely completion of investment research and due diligence.

- Quality of investment recommendations and IC presentations.
