THE ROLE
We are looking for an International Research & Business Development Analyst who will support the firms international relationship and business development initiatives by coordinating client engagement efforts, managing relationship-tracking systems, and assisting with strategic projects such as international trips, events, and client outreach activities. The role aims to strengthen the firms global network, enhance client relationships, and contribute to the firms overall business development objectives.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
The incumbent will primarily be in charge of:
- Support international trips and other business development efforts, including identification of leads, coordination of internal activities before and after trips;
- Provide support for client meeting preparations (pitches & presentations);
- Enhance the Firms tracking tools on relationships in various markets and monitor activity with them on an ongoing basis;
- Develop and nurture relationships with intermediaries the firm can organize joint business development activities with;
- Be the lead project manager on new BD initiatives (events, webinars, etc.);
- Support auxiliary functions to Business Development on a need basis (such as marketing, communication, research, data analytics, relationships with foreign firms).
CANDIDATE PROFILE
EDUCATION AND PRIOR EXPERIENCE
- 2 - 4 years of relevant experience in business development, marketing, or client relationship roles within professional services, consulting, or legal services sectors.
- Proven experience in managing proposals, marketing materials, events, and stakeholder communication.
- Exposure to cross-functional collaboration and client-facing responsibilities in a high paced, dynamic environment.
- Experience with CRM tools, market research platforms, and performance tracking systems
- Masters degree in Business Administration (MBA) or equivalent, with a specialisation in Marketing, Strategy, International Business, or a related field.
- Additional certifications in digital marketing, project management, or strategic planning will be an added advantage.

- Ability to understand and align business development efforts with the firms overarching strategic objectives. Skilled in developing and executing annual business plans in coordination with leadership.

- Strong understanding of the sales lifecycle, proposal development, pitch preparation, and client engagement. Proficient in managing end-to-end BD processes across strategic and cross-practice opportunities.
Project Management
- Capable of managing multiple concurrent initiatives with attention to timelines, resource coordination, and quality control. Skilled in managing large-scale events, marketing campaigns, and strategic projects.
Market Intelligence & Research
- Demonstrated ability to gather and analyze relevant market and competitor intelligence to inform business decisions. Familiarity with industry platforms such as MergerMarket, VCCircle, and LinkedIn.
Marketing & Communication
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for developing marketing collateral, capability statements, thought leadership content, and social media messaging. Ability to maintain consistency with the firms brand guidelines.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Experienced in working with senior leadership, partners, cross-practice teams, external industry bodies, and clients. Strong interpersonal skills and professionalism in stakeholder interactions.
Technology & CRM Tools
- Proficiency in CRM systems and database management for maintaining accurate client information, credentials, and marketing materials. Familiarity with tracking and reporting BD activities and outcomes.
Event Coordination
- Capable of organizing internal and external events, including conferences, client visits, and webinars. Skilled in curating branding strategies and managing firm representation at key industry events.
