Experience: 2-5 years in Fund Accounting or Financial Operations, preferably within Private Equity, Real Estate, or Hedge Fund environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform fund accounting and financial reporting for private equity, real estate, or hedge fund structures in accordance with applicable accounting standards.
- Prepare and review fund financial statements, capital account statements, and investor-level reporting.
- Manage capital activity processes, including preparation and execution of capital call and distribution notices, capital call memos, and coordination with Limited Partners (LPs).
- Support banking and treasury operations, including LC (Letter of Credit) openings, funding, and cash reconciliations.
- Ensure timely and accurate NAV calculation, expense accruals, and journal entries.
- Coordinate with auditors, administrators, and internal teams during audit and financial close cycles.
- Assist with compliance, portfolio valuations, and investor queries as needed.
Technical Skills & Requirements:
- Strong understanding of Fund Accounting principles, Partnership accounting, and Investment structures.
- Experience with Excel and fund accounting systems (Investran, eFront, Yardi, Geneva, etc. ) is preferred.
- Familiarity with capital call/distribution mechanics, financial statement preparation, and LP communication protocols.
- Excellent attention to detail, analytical thinking, and time management skills.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CA/CPA/CFA qualification is an advantage
