Role Overview:

- We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical professional to join our Execution / Project Delivery vertical as a Business Finance / Data Analyst.

- This role bridges finance, project execution, and data analytics to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and with healthy profitability. You will be responsible for tracking project financials, monitoring execution efficiency, building data-driven dashboards, and providing actionable insights to leadership.

- This is a high-impact role where you will partner closely with Project Managers, Site Engineers, and Procurement teams to drive financial discipline, improve execution efficiency, and ensure strong project governance.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Analysis & Reporting:

- Track project-wise budgets, costs, billing, and profitability.

- Prepare MIS reports, variance analysis, and management dashboards.

- Monitor working capital, vendor payments, and client collections.

- Conduct cost-benefit and ROI analysis for projects and design decisions.

Execution Data Analytics:

- Build dashboards on project progress, timelines, vendor performance, and material usage.

- Analyze project execution efficiency (planned vs. actual timelines, costs, resource utilization).

- Identify leakages/inefficiencies and recommend improvements.

- Forecast project completion costs and timelines using predictive models.

Business Partnering:

- Collaborate with Project Managers, Site Engineers, and Procurement to enforce financial discipline.

- Provide insights for vendor negotiations, procurement strategies, and resource allocation.

- Track impact of change orders, reworks, and client escalations on profitability.

Process & Compliance:

- Ensure adherence to financial controls and company policies during project execution.

- Standardize reporting formats across sites for easier consolidation.

- Support audits and compliance with accurate documentation.

Key Skills Required:

- Strong analytical and financial modeling skills.

- Proficiency in Excel, Power BI/Tableau, ERP systems (experience in project/finance ERP preferred).

- Solid understanding of project costing, execution metrics, and P&L impact in project-based industries (interiors/construction preferred).

- Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration abilities.

- Detail orientation with ability to present complex data in a simple, actionable manner.

Qualifications & Experience:

- Bachelors in Commerce, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or related field (CA/ICWA/MBA Finance preferred).

- 3+ years of experience in business finance, FP&A, or data analytics in project-driven industries (construction, interiors, infra, or manufacturing preferred).

- Demonstrated experience in financial analysis, project costing, and dashboards/BI tools.
