Analyst - Equity Research - Buy Side - Banking/Financial Services

About the Role:

A SEBI-registered Portfolio Management Service and Category III AIF manager is hiring an Equity Research Analyst for its research desk. The firm runs long-only equity portfolios using proprietary quantitative, AI-driven algorithms developed in-house, with a focus on long-term compounders and quality businesses. This is a lean two-member research desk within a small firm, offering direct exposure to the Founder.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct fundamental research on listed companies and sectors

- Build and maintain detailed financial models and valuation analyses

- Monitor portfolio companies and track key business developments

- Prepare investment notes, adjustments, earnings updates and research reports

- Assist in generating new investment ideas and presenting recommendations to the investment team

Coverage:

- Sector agnostic, listed Indian equities.

Candidate Profile:

- 3-5 years in equity research, investment research, asset management, PMS, AIF, mutual funds or related roles.

- Expertise in analysing financial statements, excellent financial modelling, accounting and valuation skills, and a high-ownership mindset suited to a lean team.

- Delhi / Noida based candidates preferred.
