Description:

Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated Analyst Asset & Portfolio Management to support the strategic, financial, and operational oversight of a diversified retail real estate portfolio, including operational shopping centers and development-stage assets.

The role offers hands-on exposure to leasing strategy, financial modeling, investor reporting, capital planning, and asset-level business plan execution. The Analyst will work closely with senior stakeholders across Investments, Leasing, Property Operations, Finance, and Development teams in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist in preparing and updating annual business plans, operating budgets, and quarterly performance reports at asset and portfolio levels.

- Analyze asset-level performance vs underwriting assumptions, including NOI, IRR, equity multiples, and variance drivers.

- Support creation of investor dashboards, asset review presentations, and quarterly reporting packs, coordinating inputs from Finance and Operations teams.

- Maintain and update Excel-based financial models, incorporating cash flows, leasing assumptions, capex forecasts, and sensitivity analyses.

- Assist in valuation processes, including data room preparation, coordination with third-party valuers, and audit support.

- Track and summarize portfolio KPIs across stabilized and development-phase assets.

- Conduct benchmarking and market research for leasing, re-tenanting, and asset repositioning strategies.

- Prepare presentations and investment memos for internal investment committees and external partners.

- Maintain internal databases and document repositories related to asset performance, leasing activity, and investor reporting.

- Support special projects such as refinancing, asset disposals, and new joint venture structures.

Required Skills & Competencies:

- Strong financial modeling skills with advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.

- Exposure to commercial real estate, preferably retail and/or mixed-use developments.

- High attention to detail, strong analytical ability, and excellent communication skills.

- Ability to manage multiple workstreams and thrive in a fast-paced, flat organization.

- Experience with Yardi Voyager or similar real estate platforms is an advantage but not mandatory.

Required Experience & Qualifications:

- Overall Experience: 3-5 years

- Industry Exposure: Real Estate Investment, Asset Management, or Investment Banking

- Education: MBA, CA, or CFA Level I
