Job Title: Senior Manager Finance & Accounting (R2R)
Location: Bangalore
Work Mode: 5 Days Work From Office
Shift: US Shift
Experience: 11-18 Years
Qualification: Chartered Accountant (CA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) Full-time (Mandatory)
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead large, complex Finance & Accounting engagements or manage multiple mid-sized engagements simultaneously.
- Drive end-to-end Record-to-Report (R2R) operations, ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant financial reporting.
- Manage and mentor large teams of 3550+ professionals, fostering a high-performance and collaborative culture.
- Oversee Finance & Accounting operations supporting US-based clients, ensuring adherence to SLAs, KPIs, quality standards, and compliance requirements.
- Lead finance process transitions from client locations to India and establish scalable Centers of Excellence (CoE).
- Drive operational excellence through process standardization, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Partner with global stakeholders and senior leadership to ensure successful service delivery and client satisfaction.
- Monitor financial controls, reconciliation processes, month-end and year-end close activities, and reporting accuracy.
- Utilize BlackLine for reconciliation and financial close management.
- Identify opportunities for process optimization, transformation, and digital enablement.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and internal governance policies.
- Lead resource planning, talent development, succession planning, and performance management.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 11-18 years of experience in Finance & Accounting operations.
- CA or CPA (Full-time) qualification is mandatory.
- Strong expertise in Record-to-Report (R2R) processes.
- Proven experience leading large teams (3550+ members).
- Experience managing large complex engagements or multiple mid-sized engagements.
- Hands-on experience in finance process transitions and setting up Finance Shared Services/Center of Excellence (CoE).
- Experience leading Finance & Accounting operations from India supporting US-based clients.
- Mandatory experience with BlackLine reconciliation tool.
- Strong understanding of financial reporting, reconciliations, month-end close, journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and general ledger accounting.
- Experience working in Financial Services or Banking domain is highly preferred.
