About the job:

Role Overview:

The Project Manager IT Hardware, AV & Enterprise Solutions will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing enterprise IT and AV infrastructure deployment projects. The role involves managing end-to-end project delivery including procurement coordination, installation, integration, and final handover while ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with customer requirements. The role requires close coordination with sales, presales, engineering teams, OEM partners, and customer IT teams to ensure seamless project execution.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Project Planning & Execution:

- Manage end-to-end IT infrastructure and AV deployment projects.

- Define project scope, timelines, deliverables, and milestones.

- Develop detailed project implementation plans and installation schedules.

- Allocate resources including engineers, technicians, and vendor teams.

2. IT Hardware & Enterprise Deployment:

- Oversee deployment and installation of enterprise servers, storage, networking equipment, end-user computing, data center infrastructure, security/surveillance, and AV collaboration systems.

- Ensure installations are executed as per design, specifications, and customer requirements.

3. Installation & Site Management:

- Coordinate on-site installation activities and conduct site readiness assessments.

- Ensure proper configuration, integration, and testing of systems.

- Monitor installation progress and resolve deployment issues.

4. Project Monitoring & Reporting:

- Track project progress against timelines and milestones.

- Maintain project documentation, trackers, and status reports.

- Provide regular updates to internal stakeholders and customers.

- Handle a team of 8-10 engineers.

5. Customer & Stakeholder Management:

- Act as the primary point of contact for customers during project execution.

- Manage customer expectations and ensure timely communication.

- Ensure final project closure with documentation and customer sign-off.

6. Compliance & Quality Assurance:

- Ensure adherence to installation standards and best practices.

- Maintain quality control during project deployment.

Required Skills & Competencies:

- Technical Knowledge: IT infrastructure deployment, enterprise hardware installations, networking fundamentals, AV system deployment, data center infrastructure basics.

- Project Management Skills: Planning, scheduling, resource allocation, risk management, budget monitoring.

- Soft Skills: Strong communication, stakeholder management, problem-solving, and ability to manage multiple projects.

Experience & Qualification:

- Bachelors degree in Engineering / IT / Electronics / Computer Science.

- 5-10 years of experience in IT infrastructure or enterprise project deployment.

- Experience managing AV, IT hardware, or enterprise solution projects.

- Experience working with OEM vendors and system integrators.

Preferred Certifications:

- Project Management Professional (PMP), PRINCE2, ITIL.
