Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Leadership:

- Develop and execute the international business development strategy aligned with the organization's growth plans.

- Identify and evaluate new countries, markets, sectors, and business opportunities for expansion.

- Establish long-term strategic partnerships with international employers, institutions, government bodies, recruitment agencies, and mobility ecosystem partners.

- Drive revenue growth through international client acquisition and market expansion initiatives.

- Advise the CEO and leadership team on international market trends, opportunities, and competitive intelligence.

2. Business Development & Client Acquisition:

- Lead efforts to onboard new international clients across target geographies.

- Build and maintain relationships with employers seeking global talent solutions.

- Develop country-wise business development plans and market penetration strategies.

- Identify emerging talent shortages and workforce mobility opportunities across international markets.

- Negotiate commercial agreements, service contracts, and strategic partnerships.

- Represent AIM in international business meetings, trade missions, conferences, and networking events.

3. Team Leadership & Performance Management:

- Lead and manage the International Business Development team across geographies.

- Build a high-performance culture focused on client acquisition, relationship management, and revenue generation.

- Set annual, quarterly, and monthly business targets for regional and country teams.

- Monitor team performance through defined KPIs and business metrics.

- Coach, mentor, and develop future leaders within the function.

4. Market Intelligence & Expansion:

- Conduct market research to identify new international opportunities and competitor activities.

- Analyze immigration trends, workforce demands, labor shortages, and international mobility regulations.

- Develop market-entry frameworks for new countries and business verticals.

- Maintain a strong understanding of global mobility, recruitment, workforce solutions, and education ecosystems.

5. Stakeholder Management:

- Collaborate closely with the CEO and leadership team on strategic growth initiatives.

- Partner with Operations, Candidate Sourcing, Marketing, Legal, and Compliance teams to ensure successful client onboarding and delivery.

- Build strong relationships with government authorities, chambers of commerce, industry associations, and international stakeholders.

6. Revenue & Business Growth:

- Own international business development targets and revenue objectives.

- Develop forecasting models and growth projections for international markets.

- Ensure achievement of client acquisition, retention, and revenue goals.

- Drive profitability through strategic partnerships and scalable business models.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

- Number of new international clients onboarded.

- International revenue growth.

- Strategic partnerships established.

- Country expansion milestones achieved.

- Client retention and satisfaction scores.

- Conversion rate from lead generation to signed partnerships.

- Business pipeline value and forecasting accuracy.

- Team productivity and performance achievement.

Candidate Profile:

Education:

- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, International Business, Marketing, Management, or related field.

- MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification preferred.

Experience:

- 12-18 years of progressive experience in International Business Development, Global Partnerships, International Recruitment, Workforce Mobility, Education, Staffing, Consulting, or related sectors.

- Proven experience leading international business development teams.

- Demonstrated success in acquiring and managing international clients across multiple geographies.

- Experience working with employers, government agencies, educational institutions, workforce solutions providers, or international mobility organizations will be highly preferred.
