Primary Purpose of the Job:
- The Lead - Development and Expansion will be responsible for driving strategic growth and development initiatives within the school business department.
- This role focuses on identifying opportunities for expansion, optimizing operational efficiency, managing new school partnerships, and overseeing the execution of business plans.
- The candidate will collaborate with various internal and external stakeholders to ensure the successful establishment and growth of new schools, as well as the development of existing institutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning and Business Development:
- Develop and implement long-term growth strategies for school expansion.
- Identify potential new markets, assess opportunities, and lead feasibility studies for establishing new schools.
- Oversee the entire expansion process, including planning, approvals, budgeting, and execution.
Project Management:
- Lead cross-functional teams to ensure successful planning and execution of new school openings.
- Develop project timelines, monitor progress, and ensure milestones are met within budget and time constraints.
- Troubleshoot and mitigate project-related risks and issues.
Partnership Development:
- Build relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, real estate developers, vendors, and potential partners.
- Negotiate contracts, manage vendor relations, and ensure compliance with local regulations and education standards.
Financial Oversight:
- Work with the finance department to establish and manage budgets for expansion projects.
- Ensure that expansion initiatives are financially viable and meet profitability targets.
Operational Efficiency:
- Monitor the performance of new and existing schools to identify areas for improvement.
- Implement best practices in operations, technology, and resource management to optimize school performance.
Team Leadership:
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team responsible for development and expansion.
- Ensure the team is aligned with the overall goals of the department and the company.

Desired Qualification:
- Masters degree in Business Administration, Education Management, or related fields.
- Additional certification in project management or educational leadership is a plus.
Years of Experience:
- Minimum 10 years of experience in education management, business development, or school operations, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Proven experience in managing large-scale projects or school expansion initiatives.
