Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership:
- Develop and execute a strategic vision for the Engineering School.
- Enhance academic reputation and global standing.
Academic Program Management:
- Oversee program design and enhancement.
- Promote innovative teaching methods and interdisciplinary collaboration.
Faculty and Staff Management:
- Recruit, develop, and retain talented faculty.
- Provide mentorship and support to staff.
Student Development:
- Attract and retain high-caliber students.
- Enhance student engagement and career opportunities.
Research and Innovation:
- Foster research culture and industry collaboration.
- Facilitate technology transfer and entrepreneurship.
- Seek and secure funding through grants, donations, and other financial sources.
Industry Engagement:
- Forge partnerships for curriculum enhancement and placements.
- Collaborate on research projects and technology transfer.
Accreditation and Quality Assurance:
- Ensure compliance and uphold academic excellence.
- Maintain programmatic accreditation standards.
Public Relations and Outreach:
- Represent the Engineering School in national and international forums.
- Enhance visibility and alumni engagement.
Qualifications:
- Doctoral degree in relevant engineering discipline (preferably CSE).
- Extensive academic and administrative experience.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
