Come join us and realize your potential Responsibilities: This position is responsible for successfully managing a client account setup &amp; maintenance, supplier verification &amp; setup, sanctions screening, annual financial review, membership rewards etc. processing operations team that supports the Cross Border Payments organization in the JAPA &amp; US regions. - This individual will manage a team that provides support to various Compliance &amp; GSG teams and to assist management in ensuring that FES operates in accordance with all legal and regulatory requirements and all Company- s standards of conduct, so as to protect and enhance the reputation of American Express with its regulators and avoid significant financial loss. - Responsible for interfacing with various Compliance Management, Business or Unit Heads &amp; Managers on risk management &amp; compliance initiatives and to develop and coordinate cross-functional strategies and information sharing etc. - This position is also responsible for monitoring key drivers for the team and the teams day to day functionality relating to setting up new Foreign Exchange International Payments (FXIP) accounts within specific market service level agreements. - Effective supervision, coaching &amp; development of the team members. - Do root cause analysis for any process breakdown / exceptions and work with linkages globally to resolve and fix the causes for the same. - Assist in co-ordination of the BCP efforts &amp; in supporting the 6 Sigma initiatives in the region.&nbsp;</div><div> - Hold monthly, quarterly calls (or any other frequency as per business requirements) with key stakeholders globally to build relationship, continually check for acceptable service levels and address concerns (if any). - Manage team resources to ensure that Risk and Compliance processes are met in creating and maintaining accounts for FXIP &amp; B2B clients globally. Oversight of on-boarding activities to meet customer expectations.&nbsp;<div> - Drive performance excellence through the delivery of all production outcomes in accordance with agreed service level agreements and standards agreed.&nbsp; - Review and track Key Performance Indicators (KPI- s) and take corrective action to ensure goals are achieved.&nbsp; - Ensure all external customer satisfaction goals are achieved by ensuring work is monitored on a timely basis, that performance gaps are identified and addressed, and that production outcomes align with customer expectations, as agreed.&nbsp; - Co-ordinate staffing activities for the day based on work volume.&nbsp; - Monitor and manage operating expenses for cost centre, providing monthly variance reporting and forecasting on volumes and costs.&nbsp; - Action financial and statistical reporting / MIS on a daily / monthly basis. Partner with key linkages. - Provide effective cross training to ensure team flexibility during peak periods and appropriate skill backup and support.&nbsp;</div><div> - Update process flows and supporting desk instructions to facilitate training and implement ongoing process improvements.&nbsp; - Training will include a balance of process maps, on the job training and building the understanding impacts to Risk, Compliance, and other operations departments.&nbsp; - Provide updates to staff on any procedural changes and review work to guarantee their compliance.&nbsp; - Actively participate by updating procedure manuals.&nbsp; - Provide leadership in identifying and eliminating customer dissatisfiers - Review and provide input to manager, on an ongoing basis, ensure the procedures are followed in the completion of various compliance related activities and client account setup processing.&nbsp;</div><div> - Complete audit confirmations on setup.&nbsp; - Monitor and report to manager on process and productivity efficiencies and actions taken to correct.&nbsp; - Ensure the team operates within American Express policies and guidelines, including Sarbanes Oxley, and Compliance requirements for all markets serviced. - Lead and motivate a team of skilled individuals.&nbsp;</div><div> - Recruit quality team members, administer PMP program, including monthly coaching and feedback sessions with all team members, providing development, and motivation to the team.&nbsp; - Ensure the team operates within appropriate budgetary guidelines.&nbsp; - Establish and support development plans in order to develop and improve team member skills.&nbsp; - Actively lead the team- s engagement initiatives based on agreed outcomes / priority units from AES. - This role may be subject to additional background verification checks. - Sound judgment &amp; an inquisitive approach to practices and procedures. - Excellent attention to detail with ability to exercise personal authority &amp; follow procedures and controls, without exception. - Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
