Job Description  This is a Band 35 role  Compensation & Benefits Manager, India Reporting to the C&B Director, this position is responsible for providing strategic direction, program development, and ongoing management of C&B programs within the market.  Additionally the role contributes to the global C&B agenda by taking part in both global and regional projects.  Key responsibilities:  - Provide C&B guidance and advice to business leaders and HR teams to support the people agenda  - Provide in-market support to global C&B processes including the annual compensation review and bonus cycle, compliance  - Track market intelligence/trends, conducting in-depth analysis to generate trends and recommendations.  - Reinforce the - pay-for-performance- philosophy e.g. develop and implement incentive plans to drive performance, EVP & targeted retention strategies to lower attrition, etc.  - Provide recommendations for benefit program changes based on the employee risk profile, business needs and market practice  - Design / build new or revise current programs and oversee the implementation of new initiatives  - Ensure program integration and continuity of provision with a focus on improving the user experience  - Drive the strategy to ensure high levels of participation in all program activities to ensure maximum benefits are achieved from the investment made by American Express  - Assess the effectiveness of the current program against the overall C&B strategy  - Provide management information to senior stakeholders on the utilization, impact and outcomes of C&B programs  - Develop success measures and put in place metrics and measures to evaluate program outcomes and ROI  - Supervise the providers who are delivering program components, including contract negotiation of program content, delivery and cost  - Lead complex C&B initiatives particularly focusing on the delivery of / communication of programs  - Ensure compliance with all regulatory frameworks and AXP procedures as they relate to market specific C&B programs  - Participate in global and regional C&B projects in support of our wider HR strategy  - Represent C&B in senior leader forums This role may be subject to additional background verification checks.  This role may be subject to additional background verification checks.  Qualifications  - Experience in the C&B function (1-2 years)   - Required - An existing Band 35 in HR   - A deep knowledge of HR and drivers of employee engagement in India   - Exceptional relationship skills   - Ability to work autonomously without close management   - Demonstrated ability to work with multiple stakeholders   - Experience in a change-orientated, complex organization   - Ability to communicate with and influence senior leaders   - Strong analytical and problem-solving approach   - Advanced project management experience   - High quality orientation   - Result - oriented, with high levels of integrity   - Only shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview   ReqID: 17011200  Schedule (Full-Time/Part-Time): Full-time  #NOLI
