Function Description : Global Corporate Services (GCS) continues to be a fast growing business within American Express with the key objectives of accelerating growth, increasing profitability, and enhancing product value propositions to meet client needs. The Data, Strategy & Insights (DS&I) India team within GCS is instrumental in driving these objectives by providing actionable data driven insights and consultative solutions to sales and account development teams across the globe. Purpose of the Role : - This role will support Product Insights for the fast-accelerating GCS business in the high potential Supplier Payments domain. With special focus on Early Pay product through the life-cycle across prospecting, pre-sale, and post-sale stages, this role will be responsible for creating analysis, sharing recommendations and measuring outcomes to drive accelerated growth to the Early Pay product. Identifying new opportunities, insights solutions, strategic products features, and capabilities that can drive the next growth wave for Commercial business of AMEX. Responsibilities : - Prospect research & Pre-sale : a. Research and fill in missing information of D&B data for account targeting & pricing including revenue, credit rating, paydex, and FSS score b. Early Pay opportunity sizing, determining incentive / value share options using an incentive calculator c. Research for supplier-level pricing analysis. Research and report revenue, materiality, and term data for suppliers so that the pricing team can create supplier-level pricing analysis - Enhanced working capital analytics : a. Leveraging SpendIQ data and external public financial data, review the terms of specific suppliers against the terms with other buyers to see if there is opportunity for term extension b. Partner with Supplier Acceleration team and leverage existing working capital analytics - Priority Payments (PPS) Call Reporting : a. Tracking supplier outreach, engagement & acceptance metrics b. Calculating incentives based on the monthly performance of call agents Critical Factors to Success : - Prior experience with a financial organization, fintech, start-up in the domain of B2B payment products - Prior experience with Accounts Payable data, Dun and Bradstreet data preferred - Ability to bring out data insights, consultative mindset and report/dashboard development using large volumes of granular data to deliver analytical solutions - Should be able to work with high sense of ownership - Strong communication and presentation skills, with ability to present and translate complex information to sales and technical partners Qualifications : Past Experience : - Minimum 1 year of experience, preferably in the financial analytics / supplier payments domain - Ability to be part of a team with analytics & reporting remit - Should be comfortable with flexible shift timings (uptil 23:30 IST) to support the business Academic Background : - Minimum bachelor degree from reputed institute. - Masters and/or professional qualifications an added advantage Functional Skills/Capabilities : - Experience with Accounts Payable data, Dun and Bradstreet data, Spend IQ product desirable Technical Skills/Capabilities : - SAS, SQL, Hive, Python, VBA, Excel Behavioral Skills/Capabilities : - Enterprise Leadership Behaviors - Set The Agenda : Define What Winning Looks Like, Put Enterprise Thinking First, Lead with an External Perspective - Bring Others With You : Build the Best Team, Seek & Provide Coaching Feedback, Make Collaboration Essential - Do It The Right Way : Communicate Frequently, Candidly & Clearly, Make Decisions Quickly & Effectively, Live the Blue Box Values, Great Leadership Demands Courage The Apply Button will redirect you to website.
