Position Summary:

We are looking for a seasoned SAP MM Subject Matter Expert (SME) to drive the implementation, configuration, and support of SAP MM modules within a manufacturing-driven enterprise. The ideal candidate will have strong domain expertise in procurement and materials management, combined with hands-on SAP implementation skills, ensuring seamless integration with manufacturing and supply chain processes.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the design, configuration, and implementation of SAP MM functionalities.

- Facilitate requirement gathering, blueprinting, and solution design sessions with business stakeholders.

- Configure SAP MM modules (procurement, inventory management, vendor management, invoice verification, etc.) in line with business needs.

- Ensure integration of MM with other SAP modules (SD, PP, FICO, WM) for end-to-end business process coverage.

- Collaborate with IT and operations teams for system change requests, prioritization, testing, and deployment.

- Provide post-implementation support, troubleshoot issues, and recommend process improvements.

- Partner with manufacturing, procurement, and supply chain teams to optimize business functionality and performance.

- Contribute to training, user adoption, and documentation of new SAP MM features.

Required Skills & Experience:

- 7-14 years of hands-on SAP MM experience with strong manufacturing exposure.

- Experience in at least one full-cycle SAP implementation or large rollout.

- Strong understanding of procurement, inventory, vendor management, and invoice processing.

- Knowledge of integration with supply chain/manufacturing modules (SD, PP, WM, FICO).

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

- Ability to engage with both technical teams and business stakeholders effectively.

Qualifications:

- B.Tech / MBA (Operations/Supply Chain/IT) or equivalent qualification.

- SAP S/4HANA MM certification (preferred).

- Familiarity with taxation, vendor compliance, and procurement policies in manufacturing.
