
Qualified Chartered Accountant with 2 - 5 years of post-qualification experience, preferably:
a) in audit roles at Big 6 or reputed Tier 2 firms, or
b) with boutique investment banking firms.
- Comfortable to work extended hours and is open to travel are essential.
- Demonstrates strong analytical skills.
- Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint, with the ability to create high quality presentations.
- Strong research orientation, with the ability to analyse complex information into concise summaries and insightful observations for reports and presentations.
- Comfortable using AI based tools to enhance productivity and analysis.
Key roles and responsibilities:
- Conduct desktop due diligence based on the Information Memorandum (IM), seller-provided details, financial statements, and publicly available information.
- Review IMs and business projections; create structured Excel databooks highlighting key observations, insights, and preliminary views.
- Analyze teasers and IMs and prepare presentation materials covering the initial assessment of the Target business.
- Perform industry research by reviewing reports and secondary data; develop point of view notes on industry dynamics, future growth potential, and macro factors, including government policies.
- Support post merger integration activities, including preparation of trackers, coordination with cross functional teams, and monitoring the status of integration activities.
- Coordinate with external consultants such as due diligence partners and investment bankers.
- Provide support on transaction related legal documentation.
