
Job Description:
We are seeking a dynamic, strategy-driven Sales & Marketing Head to lead and scale our channel sales operations in the decorative laminates segment. The role will be responsible for building a strong dealer-distributor network, driving market penetration, strengthening brand presence, and delivering sustainable revenue growth across India.
This position is ideally suited for high-potential IIM graduates, including fresh graduates, who demonstrate strong leadership capabilities, analytical rigor, and a passion for building brands and distribution networks in the B2B building materials space.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Leadership & Channel Development
- Develop and execute pan-India channel sales strategies for laminates (dealers, distributors, stockists, project partners).
- Appoint, onboard, and manage distributors and key channel partners across regions.
- Drive primary and secondary sales growth while ensuring healthy channel inventory.
- Set sales targets, monitor performance, and implement corrective actions.
Marketing & Brand Strategy
- Design and implement marketing initiatives to enhance brand visibility among dealers,
architects, interior designers, and contractors.
- Plan and execute ATL, BTL, and trade marketing activities including dealer meets, exhibitions, sampling programs, and launches.
- Collaborate with design and product teams for new product development and market-fit.
Team Management & Capability Building
- Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing sales and marketing team across regions.
- Establish performance metrics, review mechanisms, and incentive programs.
- Drive a culture of accountability, execution excellence, and ethical business practices.
Market Intelligence & Strategy
- Analyze market trends, competitor activity, pricing strategies, and customer feedback.
- Identify new growth opportunities, untapped markets, and potential channel expansion areas.
- Provide data-driven insights to leadership for strategic decision-making.
Governance & Compliance
- Ensure adherence to company policies, pricing discipline, and channel governance norms.
- Maintain compliance with applicable trade, taxation, and regulatory guidelines.
Desired Qualifications
Education
- MBA / PGDM from IIMs (Preferred)
- Specialisation in Sales, Marketing, Strategy, or General Management
- Fresh graduates with strong academic performance and leadership exposure are encouraged

- 0-5 years (High-potential freshers considered)
- Prior exposure (internships/live projects) in building materials, FMCG, consumer durables, or B2B channel sales will be an added advantage
