Amazon.com is looking for a marketing superstar and proven business leader to be the Sr. Marketing Programs Manager for Global Sales India Self-Serve Channel. Self-Serve channel is an intuitive, scalable acquisition channel that allows sellers from India to register and start selling on Amazon Global Marketplace without any manual intervention. Vision of Global Sales team is to enable non-linear growth of business through this channel.   This position will be responsible for driving awareness of Global Selling among Indian Sellers, driving the launch of new Sellers and creating compelling internal and external product positioning and campaigns to meet aggressive business goals. The role requires a high level of interaction and synergy with our Global Marketplace businesses. The role is global in scope and includes growing SSR in the US as well as other markets.  Key Strategic Objectives  The Sr. Marketing Programs Manager is responsible for attracting and launching sellers into the Global Sales program. Global Sales is a strategic business that differentiates Amazon from the competitors.   The scope for this role includes the following:   - Build an effective marketing plan to drive awareness, adoption, and success of Indian exporters in the Global marketplace.  - Create innovative marketing programs, campaigns and promotions across various channels, such as email marketing, events, online advertising, Webinars, social media, SEM, co-marketing with partners, etc.  - Develop targeted messages for Global Selling based key value proposition and use cases.  - Partner with the field and sales management to identify needs and execute lead generation programs.  - Work closely with service teams, sales/business development, PR, product management, evangelists, and other marketing managers to achieve goals.  - Create marketing collateral to support your campaigns including online, print and video media; manage internal & external agencies and creative partners.  - Use compelling and comprehensive data to measure performance of programs and drive innovation.  - Partner with groups within Amazon (including international regions) to develop and leverage marketing programs and identify new opportunities that align to team and cross-company goals.  - Assist in the development of key metrics and performance indicators to measure overall financial performance and provide foundation for continuous improvement.  - Influence and evangelize with senior leadership in our Global Marketplace organizations.  - Drive success of sellers registered through the Self-Serve channel.   - Create relationships with freelancers and PR firms as needed to drive the Global Sales business.  Key capabilities:   - Deep knowledge of online marketing methods, tools and strategies; ability to plan, develop and execute complex multi-platform campaigns.  - Strong analytical and quantitative skills; ability to use customer research, hard data and metrics to back up assumptions, generate credible forecasts, and assess the efficacy of marketing programs.  - Strengths in problem solving and issue-resolution, ability to work effectively in a deadline-driven work environment, attention to detail, and ability to multitask.  - Outstanding skills at initiating, managing and growing strategic relationships with third parties, vendors and internal stakeholders.  Basic Qualifications   - 5+ years professional marketing experience.   - Experience managing large-scale campaigns and other marketing programs  - Proficient with MS Excel  - Oral and written communications skills  - Has relentlessly high standards  - Thinks strategically, but stays on top of tactical execution  - Thinks big and has convictions  - Results oriented  - Has the innate ability to inspire passion in others  - Preferred Qualifications   - General knowledge of e-commerce and target market segments (e.g. media, apparel, and electronics), processes, industry standards, regulations, and the current business trends.  - General knowledge of competitive offerings in terms of features and price.   - MBA considered a plus.
