Amazon is looking for a Program Manager to join its peer to peer marketplace team which is working on inventing new and innovative ways to enable anyone to start selling on Amazon.in.  The peer to peer marketplace program equips individual sellers and home entrepreneurs with simple, self-service tools to sell and succeed on the platform. We are looking for a superstar Program Manager to drive our business growth in India.   The right candidate will possess strong operations and/or program management background and is passionate about advocating for the customer, an effective communicator and problem-solver focused on building scalable and automated solutions. This position requires a strong blend of bias for action and project management skills with the ability to conduct in-depth analyses, think big and identify strategic issues to drive short term and long-term projects.   The candidate will be responsible for defining the roadmap and requirements for the platform in the domain of seller support, customer support, and Amazon logistics to deliver best in class buyer experience. This role is responsible for launching and scaling our product initiatives and partnering with internal and external stakeholders across the business, tech, and operations for driving improvements.  Key Responsibilities:   - Drive initiatives to bridge the gap in order to improve post order customer/seller experience and delivery experience.   - Define and build scalable operations framework including an end to end processes and workflows to support the business requirements.   - Develop and report performance metrics, Deep dive to root cause the problem and to identify potential opportunities for improving the process or scalable product solutions.   - Develop and implement programs while working cross-functionally with internal and external teams including product managers, Customer service managers, Seller support, and supply chain to implement projects to achieve process excellence.   - Manage the launch of this program across different cities in India and build scalable process improvement programs/projects to support the business at PAN-India level.  - Develop short/long term headcount plans that enable business strategies and to optimize variable costs associated with staffing.   - Develop ad-hoc pilot programs to validate the different hypothesis and based on the results prioritize the projects to build scalable product solution.   - People management i.e. performance appraisals, goal setting, training and mentoring talent to grow within the organization.  Basic Qualifications  - 5+ years of program and project management experience.  - Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification.   - Experience in business operations and logistics, ability to organize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.  - Strong oral and written communication skills, as well as ability to think clearly, analyze quantitatively and problem-solving.  - Sound business judgment, proven ability to influence others, and strong analytical thinking skills.  Preferred Qualifications  - MBA in Operation strategy, supply chain, or related field from Tier-1 B-school.   - Experience in managing programs/processes in the high-volume environment.  - Ability to build relationships and influence decision making.  - Strong proficiency in SharePoint, SQL, Microsoft Excel.   - A creative problem solver who proactively seeks out system or process enhancements in support of his/her customers.  Amazon is an equal opportunity employer.
