Job description : - As Program Manager, you will be part of Line Haul team of Amazon Transportation network at India and will partner on launch of Amazon Freight in India. This is your opportunity to have a big impact on some of the most exciting new ideas with potential to influence the entire logistics industry in India. You will work closely with stakeholders ranging from Amazon Freight Program, Transportation planning, Finance, Payments and Line haul (LH) operations team. - Individual should have proven ability to pioneer new ways of thinking, a can-do attitude and ability to keep pace with explosive growth in an extremely deadline driven environment. As part of this role, you will be solving complex problems independently/ with limited guidance. Individual will play critical role in building below aspects for Amazon Freight operations - Integrating AF planning & Scheduling with other flows: Analyze demand pattern, build processes/basic automation, enable VRID scheduling etc. Build and take measures to identify cost optimization & reliability enhancement opportunities - Supply allocation: Partner on building decision matrix for allocation of carriers to AF demand - Setting up & tracking success metrics for the launch and drive continuous improvement - Partner with tech teams on long term roadmap for planning-scheduling integration/automation - Managing day to day escalations/dive deep requests associated with new launches
