The Manager - FP&A role is a critical position within Amazon's finance organization in Hyderabad. This role involves partnering with business leaders to provide financial insights, drive strategic decision-making, and ensure effective financial management. The individual will work closely with various teams, including operations, marketing, and technology, to develop financial plans, analyze performance, and identify opportunities for improvement. This role directly impacts Amazon's profitability and growth by ensuring sound financial planning and execution.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop annual operating plans and forecasts by collaborating with business partners and incorporating market trends and company strategies.

- Analyze monthly financial performance against plan, identify variances, and communicate insights to business leaders to facilitate informed decision-making.

- Prepare and present financial reports and presentations to senior management, highlighting key performance indicators and strategic recommendations.

- Conduct financial modeling and analysis to support new business initiatives, investment decisions, and cost optimization efforts, ensuring alignment with company objectives.

- Drive process improvements and automation initiatives within the FP&A function to enhance efficiency and accuracy of financial reporting and analysis.

- Partner with cross-functional teams to develop and implement financial controls and policies, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.

- Provide financial guidance and support to business partners on a variety of financial matters, including budgeting, forecasting, and investment analysis.

Required Skillset:

- Demonstrated ability to perform complex financial analysis, including variance analysis, forecasting, and financial modeling.

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively present financial information to both technical and non-technical audiences.

- Proven ability to build strong relationships with business partners and influence decision-making.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.

- 4-9 years of relevant experience in financial planning and analysis.
