Corporate Development Manager - Amazon India is currently recruiting for a Manager, Corp Dev team with a focus on direct equity investments in India. - The Corp Dev team is responsible for minority investments and M&A activity at Amazon. - The candidate should be capable of thinking out of the box, identify new trends and develop investment theses backed by quality data Key job responsibilities: The individual will be independently responsible for: - Building a pipeline and Sourcing investible opportunities - Assist the team in execution of transactions. - Monitor the investment portfolio Basic qualifications: - Bachelor's/PG Degree - 2+ years of applicable experience in investment banking / Private equity / venture capital firm Preferred qualifications: - Post-graduate degree / Professional qualifications such as CA/CFA - Competency with new age businesses - Demonstrated ability to think outside the box, identify new trends and have a point of view on them - Ability to build and maintain a network of relationships which facilitate deal flow Note : This is 2 years CONTRACT ROLE on Amazon Payroll.
