Job Title: Sr. Specialist International Sales & Marketing.
Job Overview:
The Sr Specialist will be responsible for driving the companys sales strategy, leading the sales team, and identifying new business opportunities. This senior role requires a dynamic leader with a proven track record in scaling businesses, particularly in the manufacturing or instrumentation sectors, with specific experience in pressure reactors and related equipment.
The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the market, strong relationships within the industry, and the ability to execute strategies that drive growth and profitability. Past experience in both SMEs and larger MNC environments is a plus.
Key Responsibilities:
- Technical discussions / visits to clients for resolving their technical queries if needed.
- Searching for tenders, preparing offers for the same within the due date.
- Business promotion activities like generating new requirements / new clients and promoting our new products/improvements in design and other aspects of business.
- Clarifying technical requirements of client to our design and production team, in case they have any doubt during execution of the project.
- Arranging & attending exhibitions, seminars, and other business promotional event. Should possess/develop strong technical & product-related knowledge.
- New business development/Dealer development.
- To handle international dealer/client enquiries independently & follow up on offers submitted.
- List all customer requirements & close techno-commercial discussion with end-users. Manage the relationship with the client and relevant stakeholders.
- Perform risk management to minimize potential risks.
- Good knowledge of the export process will be an added advantage.
- Use and continually develop leadership skills & perform other related duties as assigned.
- Develop and Implement Sales Strategy: Design and execute a comprehensive sales strategy that aligns with the companys business objectives and drives revenue growth.
- Lead and Mentor Sales Team: Manage, mentor, and grow a high-performing sales team, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Market Expansion: Identify and pursue new market opportunities, including new geographical regions and industry sectors.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and industry stakeholders, particularly within the pressure reactors and flow reactors market.
- Sales Operations: Oversee sales operations, including forecasting, budgeting, and performance analysis, ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Product Positioning and Market Analysis: Collaborate with the marketing and product development teams to ensure optimal product positioning and to gather market intelligence.
- Revenue and Profitability Goals: Achieve revenue and profitability targets through strategic planning and execution.
- Contract Negotiations: Lead negotiations for major contracts and partnerships.
- Reporting and Analytics: Provide regular sales reports and market analysis to the executive team, reporting insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
- Strong engineering professional with a BE MECHANICAL and CHEMICAL.
- Bachelors degree in business administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field; MBA
or advanced degree preferred.
- Professional with a demonstrated history of working in Engineering and Project industry
- Minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in sales and business development, with experience in a senior leadership role within the manufacturing or instrumentation industry, specifically in pressure reactors and related equipment (Preferable P&L responsibilities of 100 Cr+)
- Excellent spoken and written English skills
- Proven track record of scaling businesses and achieving sales targets. Assignments in outside
India roles will be a plus.
- Experience in Government Tenders will be an additional advantage
- Established relationships with key clients and stakeholders in the pressure reactors and flow reactors market preferably including foreign clients
- Skilled in Sales & Marketing, Proposals, Manufacturing processes, Lean Manufacturing and Team Building.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to execute plans eAectively.
- Deep understanding of the market and industry trends.
- Knowledge of regulations such as ASME and PED.
- Ability to travel as needed.
