Business Operations Manager I
Role Overview:
The Business Operations Manager will be responsible for tracking and optimizing revenue performance across all accounts, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and managing business operations efficiency.
This role includes maintaining a revenue sheet, analysing monthly variances and revenue leakages, conducting weekly revenue funnel calls, and ensuring smooth execution of business processes.
Key Requirements:
- Experience in Business Operations, Revenue Management, or Financial Analysis.
- Strong analytical and financial modelling skills (Excel, Power BI, or Tableau preferred).
- Understanding of business finance, revenue recognition, and pipeline forecasting.
- Ability to coordinate across multiple teams and ensure process discipline.
- Excellent communication skills for stakeholder engagement and reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
Revenue Tracking & Analysis:
- Maintain a Revenue Sheet for all accounts, tracking actual vs. projected revenue.
- Perform Monthly Variance Analysis to identify revenue leakage and deviations from forecasts.
- Work closely with Finance and Account Managers to mitigate revenue losses and improve forecasting accuracy.
- Identify growth opportunities by analyzing account-wise revenue trends.
Business Funnel & Forecasting:
- Track Weekly Business Revenue Funnel Calls, ensuring all accounts have updated projections.
- Provide MOM (Minutes of Meeting) and action items for revenue funnel discussions.
- Work with Sales, Pre-sales, and Delivery teams to validate pipeline accuracy and ensure proper deal progression.
Operational Excellence & Reporting:
- Develop and track key KPIs for revenue performance, business efficiency, and cost control.
- Monitor contract compliance, invoicing, and revenue recognition processes.
- Identify process inefficiencies and recommend improvements to streamline business operations.
- Work on automation and dashboards to improve real-time visibility of business metrics.
Collaboration & Stakeholder Management:
- Work closely with Sales, Finance, and Delivery teams to align revenue goals.
- Support leadership in quarterly business reviews (QBRs) by providing key insights.
- Ensure timely escalation of critical issues affecting revenue or operations.
Must Have:
- Year of Exp 2-4 Years.
- Tier 1 MBA College.
- Excel Analytics Expert.
