Job Summary:
- We are seeking a proactive and strategic Pre-Sales Manager with a proven track record in the financial services or FinTech domain.
- The ideal candidate will have at least 5+ years of experience in pre-sales, with a minimum of 2 years in a leadership or managerial role.
- This position is responsible for leading the lead qualification process, managing a team of specialists, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive revenue and optimize the entire pre-sales pipeline.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of pre-sales specialists, setting performance goals, conducting regular reviews, and fostering a high-performance, customer-centric culture.
- Strategic Lead Management: Take ownership of the lead qualification process, developing and implementing strategies to efficiently qualify leads and ensure a high-quality pipeline for the sales team.
- Process Optimization: Optimize the entire pre-sales workflow, from initial contact to the handoff to internal sales teams.
- This includes setting up appointments and establishing clear communication protocols.
- CRM & Reporting: Oversee the CRM strategy for the pre-sales team, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
- You will be responsible for creating and analyzing reports on key metrics such as lead qualification rates and conversion performance.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Serve as the key liaison between pre-sales, sales, marketing, and product teams.
- You will align on market strategy, provide valuable feedback from the front lines, and support product development with customer insights.
- Technical & Domain Expertise: Utilize your deep knowledge of the financial services/FinTech domain to provide expert guidance to the team and directly support complex inquiries when necessary.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum of 5+ years of professional experience in a pre-sales or similar client-facing role, with at least 2+ years in a managerial or leadership position.
- Proven experience in the Financial Services or FinTech domain.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- A deep understanding of the sales pipeline and lead generation processes.
- Proficiency with CRM systems and a familiarity with other pre-sales tools such as Intercom.
- The ability to work a flexible schedule to align with the US EST time zone
