ALTROCK - Senior Manager - Strategy & Business Operations

- We are seeking a high-potential, analytically-driven Senior Manager, Strategy & Business Operations to be a key driver of our next phase of growth.

- This role is a critical force multiplier, working directly with the leadership team to define our long-term strategy, translate it into actionable business plans, and drive execution across key functional areas.

- The ideal candidate will leverage their strong MBA foundation to tackle ambiguous problems, lead cross-functional initiatives, and deliver measurable impact on our P&L and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

I. Corporate Strategy & Planning (40%)

- Strategic Roadmapping: Lead the annual strategic planning process, including market sizing, competitive analysis, and identifying new business opportunities and expansion vectors.

- Executive Support: Prepare high-impact presentations and financial models for the VP/COO and Board of Directors, articulating business performance, strategic outlook, and capital allocation recommendations.

- Deep Dive Analysis: Conduct complex financial and quantitative analysis to evaluate strategic initiatives, M&A targets, and internal performance levers.

II. Business Operations & Execution (40%)

- Performance Management: Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational - metrics, developing mechanisms to track progress and flag risks across all departments (Sales, Marketing, Product, Finance).

- Process Optimization: Identify and lead projects to drive operational efficiency and cost-saving opportunities, utilizing frameworks like Lean or Six Sigma to scale core business processes.

- Cross-functional Leadership: Serve as a program manager for high-priority, cross-functional projects (, new product launches, go-to-market strategy, international expansion), ensuring alignment and timely execution.

III. Special Projects & Change Management (20%)

- Incubation: Lead the incubation of new strategic ventures or pilot projects from ideation to launch, developing initial operating models and resourcing plans.

- Org Design: Partner with HR to recommend and implement organizational design changes that optimize team structures for strategic objectives.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

Educational & Professional Background:

Mandatory: Full-time MBA from a Tier-1 institution (IIMs, ISB, XLRI, FMS, or top global equivalent).

Experience: 5 - 8 years of total experience, with a minimum of 2-3 years in a high-impact role at a Top-tier Strategy Consulting Firm (MBB/Tier 2) or in a Corporate Strategy/Chief of Staff function at a high-growth startup/MNC.

Core Skills:

- Analytical Prowess: Exceptional data interpretation, financial modeling, and quantitative analysis skills.

- Proficient in Excel and data visualization tools (Tableau/PowerBI).

- Communication: Superior written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to distill complex information into concise, executive-level narratives.

- Stakeholder Management: Proven ability to influence and collaborate effectively with senior executives and diverse functional teams without formal authority.

- Problem-Solving: Highly structured, first-principles approach to solving ambiguous business problems
