Role & responsibilities:
- Meeting with existing and prospective REIT investors on a quarterly basis.
- Owning the preparation of half-yearly and annual reports for existing and proposed SM REIT schemes.
- Handling recurring queries and ensuring consistent and high quality communication with existing investors.
- Ensuring regular dissemination of scheme information through quarterly investor presentations, board presentations and other investor material like factsheets, market summaries etc.
- Coordinating investor roadshows, analyst meets, webinars, and earnings calls for existing and prospective investors to ensure prominent coverage of scrip and increasing retail investor awareness.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with institutional investors, Family Offices, HNI/UHNI investors, analysts, and market intermediaries and providing secondary exit liquidity by enabling transactions.
- Ensuring timely compliance with SEBI regulations and disclosure requirements related to SM REIT investor communications by collaborating with internal teams, including Finance, Compliance, Legal, and Asset Management, to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
- Supporting fundraising initiatives, capital market transactions, and streamlining the onboarding of new investors.
- Generating positive market visibility by engaging with industry stakeholders, participating in industry events, liaisoning with the SM REIT Association.
Preferred candidate profile:
- Candidates should have 8-12 years of experience in Investor Relations, Fund Operations, Fundraising, or Alternative Investment roles (REITs, AIFs, PMS, or real estate funds).
- CA (Upto 2 attempts) or MBA from Tier 1/Select Tier 2 colleges is preferred.
- Significant historical work experience should be with a listed company or large corporate houses/Banks/Funds/Financial Intermediaries in Investor Relation role.
- Excellent analytical and communication skills (verbal and written).
- Strong understanding of KYC/AML, investor onboarding, fund administration, and basic taxation concepts.
- Proficient in MS Office, CRM tools, and digital investor platforms.
- High attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
- Assertiveness, empathy and professional conduct while dealing with investor concerns.
- Professional, proactive, and comfortable liaising with investors, fund managers, and internal teams in a fast-paced environment.
