Find out more about life at Alter Domus at careers.alterdomus.com Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support strategic sourcing and procurement initiatives across IT Services and Professional Services (HR, Facilities Management, Consulting, etc.).


- The role focuses on data-driven insights, spend analysis, supplier performance analytics, and stakeholder decision support, enabling effective category strategies and cost optimization. The Business Analyst will act as a bridge between procurement, IT, and business stakeholders, providing structured analysis, recommendations, and governance support to ensure value-driven, compliant, and scalable sourcing decisions.


Key Responsibilities:


- Business & Spend Analysis Conduct detailed spend analysis, market assessment, and demand forecasting across IT and Professional Services categories. Analyze historical purchasing data, vendor spend patterns, and cost drivers to identify saving and productivity opportunities. Develop financial models and scenario analyses to support sourcing strategies and budget planning.


- Category Strategy Support Support the development of category sourcing strategies by providing structured insights on spend, supplier landscape, and business demand. Assist in defining preferred supplier models and benchmarking cost and service performance. Translate business requirements into analytical inputs for category and sourcing decisions.


- Vendor & Performance Analytics Design and maintain vendor performance dashboards, tracking KPIs such as cost, service levels, delivery quality, and contract compliance. Support supplier performance reviews through data-driven insights and trend analysis. Identify risks related to supplier concentration, cost escalation, or service degradation.


- Stakeholder & Process Enablement Partner with IT, HR, Finance, Facilities, and Procurement stakeholders to understand requirements and align analytics with business objectives. Support complex sourcing initiatives and tenders through requirements analysis, data preparation, and evaluation support.


- Ensure procurement processes are data-backed, compliant, and auditable. Reporting & Governance Provide regular financial forecasts, spend reports, and productivity tracking for leadership review. Support contract lifecycle management through data tracking on renewals, SLAs, and commercial terms.


- Contribute to continuous improvement of procurement analytics, tools, and reporting frameworks.


Required Skills & Experience:


- 7-10 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably supporting procurement, IT services, or professional services in a multinational environment. Strong experience in spend analysis, financial modeling, and business case development. Solid understanding of IT services and professional services procurement concepts, including vendor models, pricing structures, and contracts.


- Hands-on experience working with large datasets, dashboards, and analytical tools (Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or similar). Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to communicate insights clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.


- Experience supporting sourcing initiatives, tenders, or supplier evaluations from an analytical standpoint. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.


Preferred Qualifications:


- Prior exposure to IT procurement, software services, or IT/technology consulting environments. Understanding of contract structures, SLAs, and vendor performance metrics. Experience working in global or shared-service procurement models.


- Familiarity with procurement or ERP systems (e.g., SAP Ariba, Coupa, Oracle) is a plus.
