Job Description - Business Analyst
Role Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst to work closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to drive requirement analysis, solution design, and successful implementation of enterprise systems. The role demands strong analytical, documentation, stakeholder management, and data analysis skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Analysis & Requirement Gathering:
- Work closely with stakeholders to understand business needs, challenges, and objectives
- Elicit, analyze, and document functional and technical requirements for systems and processes
- Develop business cases and project charters to support new initiatives
Technical Collaboration:
- Collaborate with IT and development teams to design and implement technical solutions aligned with business objectives
- Create technical documentation including system design specifications, data mappings, and process workflows
- Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with enterprise architecture standards
Solution Design & Implementation:
- Identify and evaluate existing systems for optimization or integration with new technologies
- Support the design and implementation of custom applications, APIs, and system integrations
- Participate in system testing, UAT, and deployment to ensure quality and requirement alignment
Data Analysis & Reporting:
- Define reporting requirements in collaboration with data analysts and engineers
- Analyze datasets to identify trends, anomalies, and improvement opportunities
- Create and maintain dashboards and reports using tools like Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms
Stakeholder Management & Communication:
- Act as the primary bridge between business and technical teams
- Facilitate workshops, meetings, and stakeholder presentations
- Translate complex technical concepts into clear, business-friendly communication
Project Support:
- Support project planning, timeline tracking, and risk mitigation activities
- Track and report project progress, proactively identifying and resolving issues
- Assist in creating and executing effective change management strategies
Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong experience in Business Analysis, Requirement Gathering, and Documentation
- Hands-on exposure to system integrations, APIs, and enterprise applications
- Proficiency in data analysis, reporting, and dashboarding tools
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Experience working in Agile / Waterfall / Hybrid project environments
