Alpha Alternatives - Commodity Structured Product Head

Alpha Alternatives is a multi-asset class alternatives asset management platform based out of India and Singapore, with over 6000 crs of assets under management, and deep focus on alpha generation. We operate across various alternative spaces like Commodities, Equities, Absolute Returns, Structured Credit, Fixed Income and Quant. We are looking for a Commodity Linked Structures Product Head to lead our team in developing and managing commodity linked structured products. The candidate should have a deep understanding of the commodity markets and experience in developing and managing structured products.

Responsibilities:

- Develop and manage a suite of commodity-linked structured products

- Work closely with our investment team to identify opportunities in the commodity markets and develop strategies to capitalize on those opportunities.

- Provide expert advice and guidance to clients and prospects on commodity-linked structured products

- Manage the daily operations of the commodity-linked structured products team, including the development of processes, procedures, and controls

- Provide ongoing training and development to the team to ensure they have the skills and knowledge required to deliver exceptional service to clients

- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, prospects, and external partners.

Requirements:

- Strong mathematical, analytical skills and the ability to develop and execute complex investment strategies

- Undergraduate Degree in Finance, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, economics, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.

- 7-10 years of experience in the financial services industry, with a focus on commodities and structured products.

- Demonstrated experience in developing and managing commodity-linked structured products.

- Deep understanding of the commodity markets and the factors that drive commodity prices.

- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to explain complex financial concepts to clients and prospects.

- Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage and develop a team.

Compensation:

Compensation will be discussed individually with selected candidates. We are strongly performance driven and are seeking individuals who are risk-takers, and are comfortable operating at a lower fixed but high potential upside from performance linked bonuses and possibility of value creation.

Location: Dadar, Mumbai.
